Khari Allen Lee offers  private instruction in saxophone, general music & musicianship, Jazz & American music studies, & improvisation to beginners through advanced students, in-person at his studios in Auburn, AL and Mid-City New Orleans, or online (via Zoom).

Using his years of experience as an educator, international touring performer & reflective practitioner as a foundation, Mr. Lee's  lessons develop strong instrumental technique, creativity & sensitive listening skills in a friendly, supportive environment.

Every lesson includes:

• Exercises in music theory, history & ear training to promote a broad base of musicianship skills

• Effective practicing strategies to encourage steady progress at home & beyond

• Mindfulness techniques to help reduce performance anxiety & build confidence

Tuition:

Lessons are billed in groups of four: $280 for four 45-minute lessons (recommended for beginners), $360 for four 60-minute lessons (recommended for intermediates) & $400 for four 75-minute lessons (recommended for advanced students and those seeking to enhance their skills as a professional performer).

Prospective students receive a complimentary "meet-and-greet" consultation via phone or in-person at the studio to discuss the student's goals for study & receive insight into Mr. Lee's approach to the structure of a regular weekly lesson.​
