Our Vision of A New Earth…
Einstein said, 'We cannot solve our problems from the state of mind that created them.' Our music, Our Art, is of the state of mind/heart of a New Paradigm, a New Cosmology. Focusing our intention & using ancient tuning methods, we are consciously using our Art to manifest a New Earth...a World of greater conscious co-creation, reverence for Life, shared abundance, compassion, harmony, high health, high technology in tune with Mother Nature's perfection, appreciation of wisdom, perpetual peace & Love.
Why A432?
Creating Coherence…Remembering that all is vibration, all is sound, A New Earth was performed and recorded using the A=432Hz tuning. Also known as the frequency of the primordial Om & as Verdi's tuning, this ancient system is mathematically consistent with the rhythms, cycles, & ratios of nature, of our Earth, & of the Universe. Ancient instruments (Egyptian, Greek, Tibetan & beyond) have been tuned to this frequency. This musical pitch, based on the Golden Ratio, was used in the construction of a plethora of ancient master works, temples & sacred places (e.g. the Pyramids at Giza & Teotihuacan). This healing, enlightening frequency unites us with Universal Harmony & the 8Hz pulse, the heartbeat, of our Mother Earth, also known as the Schumann Resonance (8Hz x 54 = 432hz).
The New Creative Collective is an American Art Music ensemble led by Khari Allen Lee & comprised of some of the Crescent City’s finest, including master visual artist/percussionist Marcus Akinlana & bassist David Pulphus.
The Collective synthesizes music, visual art & spoken word with the intention to heal, uplift, & unite. Tuning their instruments to A432 Hz, the Collective moves sound in resonance with the heartbeat of Our Mother Earth to great soothing, soul-stirring effect on all listeners.
In addition to original music, the Collective presents inspired arrangements of new standards by the likes of Marley, Wonder, Gaye, & Lennon with the intent to augment the “Good, the True, & the Beautiful” in our world.

Khari Allen Lee has arisen as one of the most-in-demand saxophonists, educators, composers, and multi-instrumentalists of his generation. He has performed & recorded with such luminaries as Alvin Batiste, Ellis Marsalis, the Treme Brass Band, Edward 'Kidd' Jordan, Dr. John, Aretha Franklin, Terence Blanchard, Stevie Wonder, DeeDee Bridgewater, Branford Marsalis & many more. In addition to his own the group, the New Creative Collective, he is lead saxophonist & touring member of Delfeayo Marsalis’ Uptown Jazz Orchestra, Sextets & Quintets, former lead saxophonist of the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra directed by Adonis Rose, and was a faculty member at the University of New Orleans & Loyola University, following his extended tenure at the prestigious New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts (NOCCA). He was recently chosen to become the Auburn University Daniel F. Breeden Eminent Scholar in Residence for the Arts & Humanities.
